I picked up these adorable stands last year when we were shooting the images for my book, Great Cake Decorating. We don’t typically do cupcakes, so I thought for sure that they’d end up collecting dust on my shelf of misfit stands (you know, the ones you really really love, but have absolutely no use for). But, to my surprise, I was SO wrong! People love, love, love these stands! At first glance you might think they’d only be useful for a child’s birthday party, but they also add the sweetest touch to a cake table with a bit of vintage flare.
There are a few different styles available online. I picked this particular stand because it’s sturdy and doesn’t spin. I know, I know, but spinning would be so cool you say. I thought so too, but the image of my clients watching their cupcakes fly off their stand and onto their guests was enough to make me go for the more stable stand. So difficult to be a responsible adult sometimes. 😉
The little cups hold a standard cupcake (2.5″ liner). They are removable – which makes loading and unloading the stands pretty easy.

While you’re at it – the book is on sale too! A crazy, crazy low price for close to two years of my life and a large chunk of my cake knowledge (she says with a laugh and a tear in her eye).

Do you do shipping to Sydney Australia? I am interested in your book ‘Great Cake Decorating’ and ferris wheel cup cake holder.
If yes, would you know how much shipping would cost?
Please reply via email. Thanks!

Hi! I don’t sell these products directly. These are links to buy on Amazon.com, so you’d have to check with them. I really hope they’re able to! Are there any cake shops local to you that I could contact to carry my book? 🙂

I found your blog by accident and I’m glad I did. I may have to order your book. By the way, where did you get that lovely table cloth?

Thank you so much! I wish I knew where the tablecloth came from. It was a rental provided by the bride.
