Hip, hip, hurray! My latest Craftsy class, Delicious Decorations: Chocolate Flowers, has launched! Click here to pick the class up for 50% off regular price. (I’m the only one with this link, so you can only get this discount from me. π )
In the class I teach you an easy tempering method that requires no tools at all! Next, I walk you through the different mediums I use in the class: dark chocolate, white chocolate, and coating chocolate. From there I teach you the chocolate flower techniques for creating peonies, pansies, small blossoms, ranunculus, tulips, parrot tulips, stephanotis, anemones, leaves, butterflies, and a sunflower. Β Phew! We top it off by decorating cakes finished with 2 different royal icing bark techniques – super popular birch and classic oak.
To celebrate this exciting class launch, I’m giving away a kit that contains everything you’ll need to get started making delicious chocolate flowers! Thanks to the wonderful folks at Chef Rubber and Sunflower Sugar Art, you have the chance to win a box that includes: fine chocolate (white and dark), confectionary colors, colored cocoa butter, coating chocolate, silicone molds, veiners, and other tools.
I’ve already announced 2 ways to win – share the chocolate flowers post on your Facebook page and include the hashtag #chocolateflowers or regram my class announcement on Instagram with the same hashtag, #chocolateflowers. Well, here’s a third way to win!! I decided to add this for those who aren’t into the whole hashtag thing. I have to say, I’m not a huge hashtagger myself, but it does make it super easy for me to find everyone who’s shared the post. For an additional entry, comment on this blog post with which one of the chocolate flowers from this class is your favorite. That’s it! Easy peasy.
In the meantime, pick up the class using my special 50% off link:Β www.craftsy.com/ext/ErinGardner_4820_H
Winner will be announced Friday. Good luck everyone! π
