Guys, I made marbled chocolate Easter eggs on Facebook LIVE this morning on three hours sleep! WHOOO HOO! Gold star for me today. My little guy had a rough night, so I had a rough night. Fortunately, we are all on the mend today.
When I rewatched the video I realized I was about to share an important tip, but was then distracted by my iPad! Sorry about that. It’s shiny and has pictures and that happens sometimes.
I was about to tell you what to do if you want to make a ton of these and don’t have 100 cutters to leave on chocolate while it sets. Make a large piece of patterned chocolate and let it harden completely. Set a small sauce pan on the stove over medium-high heat. Place the cutting edge of your cookie cutter on the hot pan for just a second or two. Use the warmed cutter to cut shapes from the large piece of marbled chocolate. Wipe the cutter between cuts and rewarm as needed.

Those chocolate eggs are so cute! I love the flower design! I do chocolate covered pretzels. I use wilton. Is this the same chocolate you use?
Thank you so much for the tutorial!

Thanks so much! Wilton candy melts work great with these. I also use Merckens sometimes, too. If you make them and post pics on social media include #erinbakes, so I can check them out! 🙂
